Balkan Sunflowers Kosova is a non –governmenta and non-profit organization that aims the inclusion of marginalized groups in Kosovo, with special focus for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
Balkan Sunflowers Kosova objectives are:
• Improving of educational, social, psychological, medical, emotional and intellectual development;
• Advocacy and mediation of human rights of marginalized groups;
• Supporting positive community empowerment through research, advocacy, training, mentoring, volunteering and innovative program development.
The BSFK knowledge of the challenges faced by Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian, and the experience gained during the implementation of various projects to improve the lives of these communities is a great asset and has contributed to achieving the objectives of the BSFK.
