The launching event of the project "Kosovo Integration Initiative 2020 – KOSINT 2020" was held on March 9, 2017. In the launching event of the project KOSINT 2020 were present local and international organizations, civil society and representatives of central and local governmental institutions.
The director of the Office of Good Governance, Habit Hajredini, together with the representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Gani Ismail, and the representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Merxhan Osmani expressed support for KOSINT 2020 Project pledging close cooperation during the project implementation.
The project KOSINT 2020 is funded by Roma Initiatives Office (RIO) within the framework of Open Society Foundations (OSF) and implemented Kosova Education Center (KEC) in cooperation with Balkan Sunflowers Kosova (BSFK), Roma & Ashkalia Documentation Center (RADC) and Syri i Vizionit (SiV).
The project KOSINT 2020, has established an informal network that includes representatives of four implementing partner organizations and five non-governmental civil society organizations working with Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in the fields of education and employment, as well as improving access to welfare services social.
- Building capacities of civil society organizations to participate in reform monitoring, policy development and budget planning;
- Monitoring sectorial reforms in education, employment and social welfare, in the framework of government commitments for the inclusion of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities;
- Policy development and advocacy through the influence of civil society organizations on reform policies in education, employment and social welfare, in the best interest of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities.
